We know the Summer League can be competitive. We know unforeseen circumstances happen. We know we’ve had 5 teams approach us asking to expand their rosters due to injury and unforeseen circumstances.

We also know, this year, with the format as it is, that every… game… counts… and we’re listening!

In the spirit of this… We’re thrilled to bring you some exciting news!

To keep the competition fierce and the games thrilling, we’re giving teams the chance to add 2 new players to their rosters! 🏀✨

Why Are We Doing This? As mentioned above, we’ve had some teams affected by injuries and unforeseen circumstances, and we want to ensure everyone has a fair shot at victory and an unforgettable season. Every game counts in this year’s league, and we want to see every team shine!

Opportunity to Add Players: From today (Wednesday 3rd July 2024) until midnight on Wednesday, July 10th, you can bolster your team with up to 2 new players. This is your chance to bring in fresh talent and elevate your game! 🚀

Here’s What You Need to Know:

• Teams can add up to 2 new players.
• The new players must not already be registered in this year’s league (no cross-team transfers / no trades).
• Each new player must pay a discounted registration fee of just £20! 💷
• New players must fill out the waiver forms. ✍️
• Vests: We reference to vests – unfortunately we cannot get new vests made in time for them to play. So these new players will need to bring their own similarly coloured vest with number on, or if you can, beg / borrow from those players who have dropped out to wear their vest for the remaining weeks.

We’re thrilled to unveil the official schedule for the All In Summer League 2024! Get ready to mark your calendars and lace up your sneakers for an action-packed season of basketball excitement. Here’s everything you need to know:

Schedule Overview: The All In Summer League will kick off on June 6th, 2024, and will feature thrilling matchups every week until July 25th, 2024. From intense rivalries to buzzer-beating finishes, this summer promises to deliver unforgettable moments on the court. With last years winners returning for both the Women’s and Men’s leagues, this is surely going to be a tough year.

The path to victory is different from last years schedule. This year, every game counts. Teams are fighting for final positions from week 1.

Important Dates to Remember:

• June 6th, 2024: Opening Day
• July 25th, 2024: Championship Day

Special Note: Please be aware that on July 4th and July 11th, 2024, we will be operating with only one court at the SSC. However, rest assured that we are actively sourcing a suitable alternative venue for the second court to ensure seamless gameplay and minimal disruptions during these dates.

Excitement is reaching fever pitch as we gear up for another electrifying season of the All In Summer League. With adrenaline-pumping action, fierce competition, and unforgettable moments on the horizon, here’s everything you need to know about costs, deadlines, and the league structure:

 

League Structure /  Path to Victory:

Men’s Division: All men’s teams will play each other once, followed by playoffs where 1st will face 2nd, 3rd will battle 4th, and so forth for final positions and the championship title!

Women’s Division: With four women’s teams in the league, each team will play each other twice. Following the regular season, two weeks of playoffs will ensue. Week one sees 1st facing 4th and 2nd playing 3rd, while in the final week, winners clash for the championship, and losers vie for their respective positions.

 

Jerseys:

Jerseys are not just uniforms; they’re a statement of you and your teams game! This year, we’re taking it up a notch by creating all separate custom designed jerseys for each team. From bold colors to unique patterns, which funky design will your team don? You’ll have to wait and see!

 

Deadlines:

Sign-up sheet release: Tomorrow, Monday, April 8th – Keep an eye on our website and social media for the link.

Team Sign-ups: Teams, along with their players for jersey manufacturing purposes, must be completed by April 28th. Sign-ups will be closed and locked at that point, and teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. So get your team locked in asap! We would hate for you to miss out!

 

Costs:

Amidst economic uncertainties and the challenges posed by inflation, we understand the financial strains many of us have felt lately. At All In Brand we strive to keep costs as low as possible for our players. We’ve worked tirelessly to absorb as much of the financial burden as we can, but we also face limitations. Hence, we appreciate your patience as we’ve taken the time to finalise these announcements. Your support and understanding mean the world to us.

Team Entry: £500 (it is up to captains as to how this is paid and / or gathered or not – this is separate from the player fee)

Player Registration: £25 per player (covers the entire 8 weeks of basketball)

At All In Brand, capturing the electrifying moments on the court isn’t just a passion—it’s an art form. We’re dedicated to preserving the magic of each game through our weekly highlight reels, and we believe in sharing this footage with the very heartbeat of our league: our players and teams. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’ll be providing access to all the raw footage, allowing teams and players to unleash their creativity and craft their own content. Whether you’re showcasing your finest plays, celebrating victories, or simply reliving the memories, we’re here to support you every step of the way. Once we have this mechanism in place, we will be sending out messages to Captains.

 

External Photographers / Videographers:

In recent years, we’ve seen the rise of external photographers and videographers capturing the essence of the All In Summer League from different perspectives. We welcome and appreciate this collaboration and the content which has been created by everyone has been outstanding. Some of the editing has been sublime with the use of AI in some of last years videos we saw in the community. For this year, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation. If your team plans to bring along its own media team, please give us a heads up in advance. This allows us to coordinate seamlessly, ensuring that everyone’s content needs are met while respecting the integrity of the league. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all teams for their understanding and cooperation in this regard. Welcome to the rules for the All In Summer League for 2024.

Ahead of the team sign ups being released next week, we wanted to share the rule for the Summer League for 2024.

Just as last year, here are some important rules and guidelines to ensure everyone’s up to speed with the format of the Summer League. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the following:

Overall, it is Standard FIBA rules: FIBA Basketball Rules

⏰ Game Times: Games will start promptly at the advertised game time. This year, games will be scheduled from 7 PM to 10 PM.

⏱️ Game Duration: Each game consists of 10-minute quarters with a running clock. However, during the last 2 minutes of the game, the clock will stop for better game management.

🔔 Foul Calls: Normal fouls and team fouls will be enforced according to the Standard FIBA Rules.

📢 Timeouts: 1 Timeout per half. Teams are allowed to carry over their timeouts from one half to another, and even into overtime. However, there will be no additional timeouts given for overtime.

⌛ Overtime: In the event of a tie, a 2-minute overtime period will be played with a stopping clock.

📋 Roster Deadline: The final rosters for all teams (as we know they can change a little bit) must be submitted by June 6th. After this date, trades between teams will only be permitted under exceptional circumstances.

Subs: will be as per a usual FIBA Rules game (Dead balls, etc.) – No rolling subs.  (Edit: 3rd June 2024: To clarify, the table and refs (game officials) will control when subs go in. So as usual, when you want to sub, ask the table and take a seat.)

📝 Player Eligibility:

• Players not listed on a team’s roster by 28th April (Edit: previously was June 6th, but we can’t get vests made after 28th April to be ready in time for 6th June 1st game tip off) will not be able to participate in the league. – UPDATE: 07/05/2024
• If you are aware of potential players who may be returning from overseas leagues or studies, please include them on your team roster.
• These players will need to make their payment before they are allowed to play.
• Players must pay their player fee before playing

We love competition, and while the league is competitive it is important to remember this is a summer league. Any purposeful dangerous play or behavior will result in game suspensions.

A little showboating, a little competition is always welcome, but remember, it is a summer league.

But that’s not all—we’ve also fine-tuned the schedule to better suit your needs. No more rushing to make those early 6 PM tip-offs! Games will now run from 7 PM to 10 PM, giving you more time to prepare, gather your squad, and bring your A-game when it matters most.

Playoff Week (Week 9: August 10th)

The stakes are higher than ever as we venture into the Playoff week. Your unwavering dedication and spirited performances have defined the rankings that will now determine the matchups in this knockout tournament style. It’s a chance for teams to rise to the occasion, showcase their skills, and inch closer to the ultimate glory.

Key Matchups: Game Code C1 and C2

Two crucial games, C1 and C2, hold the promise of unlocking a path to the Finals. Teams that triumph in these matchups not only secure their place in the next week’s Finals but could also earn the thrilling opportunity of a double-header, adding an extra layer of intensity to the competition.

Womens Playoffs are just as intense with the finals being all to be played for!

Week 10: The Grand Finale (August 17th)

The anticipation reaches its zenith as we approach the grand finale of the All In Summer League. Week 10 promises to be a culmination of sheer determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The court will witness the crowning moments of triumph as the Men’s Champs Final, Men’s Plate Final, Women’s Champs Final, and Women’s Plate Final take center stage.
